Default Little Woodrows - Southpark Meadows

I've always seen it, but never went there, but after visiting once I think it will become a regular hangout.

I've heard that they have a decent selection of draft beer on hand, and I was somewhat pleased to find that they do indeed have a decent selection (moreso than most). I went in looking for an Oktoberfest brew, because after all it was October, and I found two choices, Paulaner and Spaten. I was recommended the Paulaner so I gave it a whirl. It was for all intensive purposes an Oktoberfest beer. Nothing but the good stuff packed into a lightly carbonated traditional beer. I found little difference between the Spaten and Paulaner, but it is debateable if my palette was acute at the time

As far as food goes, I tried the loaded french fries, and damn were they good. Bacon, cheese, and french fries with ranch. I envision heaven a place where you do nothing but eat such regal feasts.

For ambiance the place seemed alive. There was a predominantly young crowd and everyone seemed chill; far from the alpha downtown scene. This is about what I'd expect from a neighborhood bar. The concept is really inviting and really cool. You have a completely open facade of the restaurant, and bar, that expands into a large outdoor patio section. This night was a bit cool so they lit the gas firepits outside which made it more than tolerable. In fact, if you had a pig and a spit you could have cooked your own food in near proximity, haha. The outdoors / indoors gives a good dynamic to the place, especially with no doors.

I think I'll be seeing more of Little Woodrows. The locality, selection, and price are all good-to-go.
